A Trip to Lagamar

We went on a school trip to Ilha do Cardoso.

Cardoso Island is located on the south coast of São Paulo. To get there, you have to take Rodovia Régis Bitterncourt (BR116).

You can go to Iguape, an old city with many monuments: "Morro do Espia", "Praça Maior", "Igreja Bom Jesus de Iguape", "Museo Histórico de Iguape", "SOS Mata AtlÂntica", and others. You can go to the city of Cananéia too. There is a church, "Porto de Cananéia", and good restaurants, for example: "Naguissa" there are some pizzarias too.

The weather is hot, but it can rain in the summer; and in the winter it can be cold, but there isn't much rain.

There you can walk in the beaches, in the rainforest, and others. It is so good to go to the mangrove, where there is much mud. It is so fun and but stinky.

You can stay, in a hotel called ''Golfinho Plaza Hotel'', in Cananéia. There is a big swimming pool and a big deck. You can watch a fandango's show: a typical song of the region.

Remember: Don't forget to get the insect repellent! It is very important . Get old clothes too because of the mangrove. Ah... don't forget to take your camera.
